A common problem with Land Rover LR3s, is where you can not open your upper tailgate.
Watch our Land Rover Master Technician, Doug, show you how to gain access to the lower tailgate actuator cable.
Then, you can get the tailgate open in order to replace the failed actuator and latch cable, part #s FUG500010G and LR017470G.
You will also want to replace the moisture shield part part # EOT500013G.

Can't open your Front Power Windows on your Discovery Series II?
The moving parts on a window regulator wear out, and if you hit the window switch to open and you hear the window motor running, but the window does not lower, most likely, the links on the regulator have come apart.
Watch Doug, our Land Rover Master Technician, show you how to remove the front door panel--using panel popper W107T, and then access and repair and replace the front left window regulator and window motor.
The repair is the same for the front right side.

This tool greets the job done. It's good that it's metal because the nylon type of petty tools bends too much, however it has a hard time getting all the way to the studs under the for panel before it starts to pull because it's so thick. It works, but you still might break a few of the plastic retainer studs. Just replace them. They're cheap. I would still recommend buying this tool before pulling off an interior door panel.

I used this popper without snapping off any of the plastic studs that hold the door panel in place. I did buy 20 replacement studs along with the popper just in case things went south. It's a proper popper, I recommend it...

This one worked better than the one I made out of an old pry bar. It made removing the inner door panel much easier. No door studs harmed. I would recommend this tool to anyone who has to remove a door panel.
