Left Hand Locking Hood Strut ALR5886 For Range Rover P38

Hood struts are a common replacement item on Range Rover P38s, both the 4.0 and 4.6.
Like any hydraulic damper, these can fail with age and should be replaced in pairs.
You will see first signs of this on particularly cold days (struts fail first at colder temperatures.)
So if your hood won't stay up on a cold morning, it's time for replacements.
The good news is Atlantic British carries replacement struts for your Range Rover and replacement/installation is a fairly easy process.
