07 LR3 HSE LUX. The original part in my LR3 disintegrated and I didn’t notice until half way to work. I was towed home (thanks USAA) and ordered this part, perfect fit! If your part also disintegrated, you might consider buying the entire hose assembly because otherwise you’ll have to fish plastic parts out of the hose you retain; not too difficult considering it might just crumble away. I will buy extras and replace every other year. Too inexpensive of a part not to have available and on the shelf. If you don’t know what this part is, check yours and go ahead and save yourself a tow trip and replace yours this weekend.

This fitting was the 1st piece to fail on my lr3 cooling system. The original lasted 80k and 8 years but should have been replaced a few years ago. It is about the same quality as any barbed pvc fitting one would find at Home Depot. I'm gearing up to replace all the hoses and plastic fittings to avoid getting stranded in the future.
