Atlantic British has the Land Rover belt tensioner kits you need to keep your engine’s drive belt system working at its best. Designed specifically for Land Rover Discovery Series II 1999-2004 and Range Rover 4.0 and 4.6 1995-2002 models, this belt tensioner kit (ERR6439K) includes an OE-spec tensioner assembly as well as two pulley idlers. If you’re having problems with your drive belt system, replace all of these components at once and save over the cost you would face piecing out these components separately.

2000 P38 4.6. AB came through as usual! Tensioner bearing froze but plastic kept spinning. Went 7 miles before it ate itself/melted and belt fell off. Easy to remove old parts. Unscrewing the radiator fan about half way gave more room. The old tensioner's ratchet socket to put belt on was about 3mm from a block bolt. Bosch made it unusable. New parts identical and very easy to install. Tensioner made in Italy. With no ratchet and nothing easy to pry against, I rigged a mini hoist with lumber, a strap, and an old scissor jack. It worked. There has to be an easier way, like find a helper. Key is to plan for how you will get the belt back on. These are perfect parts.
