Early photographs show the new Range Rover Sport wrapped in camouflage car wrap, obscuring some of the vehicles line but a few changes are apparent. The cars exterior design is clearly mirrored off of the flagship Range Rover, with certain elements of Evoque like new wraparound headlights, LED fog lights as well as a new skid plate. The Sport also seems to feature new tail lights that sit higher than previous models, which also seem to be derived from the Evoque.
The fourth generation Range Rover Sport will presumably feature the same powertrain as the Range Rover, a 5.0 liter V8 providing ample power and economy of scale for Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing. No word yet on the debut of this vehicle, but we can expect to see additional photos and details as the year’s auto show circuit begins to unfold.
