From what we can make through the camouflage, the latest Range looks sleeker, both lower and longer than its predecessor. What we do know is that the 2013 Range Rover will be considerably lighter – almost 1,000 pounds – than the current Range, thanks to the use of an aluminum chassis and composite materials. Presumably, the lighter weight will contribute to better fuel efficiency.
Interior upgrades have yet to be seen, but hopefully the Range will take some cues from its stylish younger sibling. Engines featured in the present Range Rover are likely to carry over to the new model. Despite the absence of a new power train, the lighter, aerodynamic Range Rover will likely increase its performance numbers.
Stay tuned for more updates on the 2013 Range Rover!
