Range Rover’s current HSE Sport model is certainly not devoid of luxurious features, and the upscale Autobiography Edition offers a level of opulence fit for a king (at a royal price). However, with the introduction of the Range Rover Sport Luxury Edition, frugal millionaires now have a “mid-level” option in their search for a supremely luxurious, sport-infused, off-road machine.
Priced at a modest (!) $150,000, The Sport Luxury Edition features a sun roof, heated steering wheel, contrast-stitched leather trim and a Harman/Kardon audio system. Powering the Luxury Edition is a 245-horsepower, 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine V6. The Luxury Edition will be available exclusively in White, Black or Bronze, and sit atop 20-inch wheels.
With no Range Rover Sport Luxury Edition to fill the hole in the US Rover lineup, American consumers will be forced to make due with the current HSE Sport or spring for the $170,000 Autobiography Edition.
