We have reported several articles highlighting the growth and development of Jaguar Land Rover over the past several months. The transition period following Tata's takeover has not been without challenge, but all recent news pertaining to the famed Jaguar Land Rover name has the automobile company on an upward trajectory.
Sales are steadily increasing, manufacturing plants are being built in Asia, company employment is on the rise and a brand new Range Rover (The Evoque) is receiving rave reviews. So what next? For Jaguar Land Rover to maintain this momentum and hit their ambitious global sales goals, they must continue to enhance their brand through innovation and new design.
That is why Jaguar Land Rover has announced that they will be introducing 40 new products in the near future. “We’ll be launching 40 new cars, derivatives and (major) technologies from Jaguar Land Rover in the next five years,” claimed Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director at Jaguar Land Rover.
The new products from Jaguar Land Rover will include new technologies (think hybrids and diesels), as well as new vehicle models. Jaguar Land Rover is hoping to broaden their appeal into new markets and enter a larger luxury car market. Garnering mass appeal will be vital to their future success.
One of the first “new” products slated for release? A new, smaller Jaguar targeted at the BMW 3 Series consumer.
