Back in April, the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) broke the news of their negotiations with JLR, who was considering to lease the circuit for use as part of a Heritage Center.
No explanation was provided, but a JLR spokesman delivered the news that "Jaguar Land Rover has ended discussions with the British Racing Drivers' Club for the foreseeable future and is not proceeding with any plans to either lease or purchase Silverstone at this time."
