Land Rover will be commemorating its 65th anniversary the best way it knows how; by releasing a special edition Land Rover Defender. Land Rover will be introducing the Defender LXV, an announcement that is sure to delight the legions of Land Rover faithful across the globe.
The LXV will be available in five different body styles, all of which will feature either a Santorini Black or Fuji White exterior with Corris Grey accents adorning the grille, roof and headlight area. Each LXV will also feature 16-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle’s interior will feature leather seating with orange stitching and select LXV embossed headrests.
The LXV Defender will be powered by a 2.2 liter diesel engine which produces 122 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque, which launch the Defender from 0-60 mph in a “blistering” 14.7 seconds. No word yet on exactly when the Defender will be released to the public, but it’s safe to say that the vehicle will be a big hit.
