Land Rovers have always been stimulating... now they will stimulate your senses in a different kind of way with Limited Edition Fairtrade Costa Rican Coffee… "the coffee with a cause!"
The cause is Project Mobility, and its newly-appointed Chairman Chris Sheppard said, "To have Land Rover coffee on board is fantastic, not only as a massive compliment for this global brand to be backing us, but the superb coffee has been a great refreshment during our builds."
You can support Project Mobility simply by buying a bag of the Land Rover branded coffee – just £4.50 for 227g of coffee. Of this £1.80 goes straight into the coffers for the Mob 3 vehicle fund (postage just £2 per bag next day).
Mob 3 Vehicle Fund? Project Mobility? What is all this?
Their website says, “Take a handful of Land Rover addicts, from all walks of life, the 4X4 industry, soldiers, pacifists, mechanics and off-road racers, all asking the same question 'how can we help?'" The all-volunteer group converts Land Rovers so they can be driven by amputees from the war effort. As one soldier said, "Project Mobility gave me back my mobility… feel like I have legs again when I am behind the wheel driving my Land Rover.” The group tracks down Land Rovers, then buys them and the parts necessary to retrofit them with driving systems that enable soldiers suffering a range of physical disabilities to drive them. The soldiers have fun, learn new skills, get mobile, and along the way, discover how to deal with a new disability.
