After decades of waiting, and almost a year of sanctioned teasing by Land Rover, we now have a global and North American debut date for the all-new 2020 Defender.
After decades of waiting, and almost a year of sanctioned teasing by Land Rover, we now have a global and North American debut date for the all-new 2020 Defender.
The global debut will be on September 10, 2019 at the International Motor Show Germany in Frankfurt. Expect that over the next few weeks, the official public relations material will come fast and furious. From recent releases of all-new models, like the Discovery 5 and Range Rover Velar, we may have a significantly closer idea of how it’ll look a week or so ahead.
The North American debut will be on November 20, 2019 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. More details on that event will be coming later, but by then we’ll long have known what the new truck looks like and may have some behind-the-scenes reviews from Europe.
Rumors suggest that new Defenders will be for sale in North America in the first quarter of 2020.
