Land Rover has received great press for their advancements in green technology. The Evoque employs a four-cylinder engine and recycled components to reduce its carbon footprint, while the innovative “Range_e” concept uses an electric-diesel hybrid engine to stretch 700 miles out of a single tank. Neither holds a candle to this latest Land Rover installment.
Seen cruising through the streets of Brazil, this man-powered Range Rover Evoque weighs in at a slim 110 pounds, and seats two – all without a single drop of gasoline. The vehicle is essentially a four-wheel bike surrounded by an intricate wire sculpture, much like the one Benedict Radcliffe created for the official launch of the Evoque earlier last year. Land Rover is undoubtedly behind this, as innovative marketing and promotional strategies are becoming somewhat common for the luxury automakers.
