Land Rover Design Director Gerry McGovern has recently expressed his intentions to add another, super-premium Range Rover model to sit at the top of the current model lineup. Dubbed the “Range Rover Ultimate,” this premium vehicle will cater to an increased desire for luxury and exclusivity present in today’s marketplace.
The Range Rover Autobiography was once thought to be the Range Rover to end all Range Rovers. Billed as the pinnacle model of the Rover lineup, the Autobiography is the model of excess and luxury, and its six-figure price tag reflects that. However, the Range Rover Ultimate looks to supplant the Autobiography as “King of the Ranges,” offering more features, increased customization options, and a price tag north of $150,000.
