The Range Rover Evoque Pulse of the City marketing campaign recently completed its latest promotional installment, a global music event named Range Rover Evoque Live.
Musical artists Mark Ronson, Cee Lo Green (pictured above) and Poalo Nutini performed simultaneously for 3,000 guests who attended the private shows held in Shanghai, New York and Milan, respectively. The performances spanned three different continents and time zones, and united fans through large LED screens which displayed live broadcasts of each concert. This inaugural event kicked off the Range Rover Evoque Live global tour, which will introduce the newest Range Rover to over 100 cities worldwide.
The marketing for the Evoque is unlike anything before seen from the Land Rover family. The global campaigns align well with the new assembly and distribution plants popping up in India and China, and the push for increased global sales. It will be interesting to look at Evoque sales figures 18 months from now. Even more interesting will be insight into consumer demographics – to see if the actual end users match the profile of those currently being marketed to.
