Land Rover has announced that it will be recalling approximately 36 Range Rover 2012 model vehicles, citing problems with a loose windshield.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has identified an issue with the windshields used in a small subset of 2012 Range Rover vehicles, claiming that the faulty windshields were not installed correctly and could be forced loose in a collision.
Land Rover will notify owners starting Nov. 5, and Range Rover owners can bring their vehicles back to the dealership where the faulty parts will be replaced for free. Owners with additional questions can call Land Rover at 800-637-6837 or the NHTSA's vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236 for more info.
