Another vid worth sharing, though not quite as professionally done, is the UK Telegraph’s “History of Land Rover” piece. This one goes straight from Red Wharf Bay to the creation of the Range Rover over 20 years later. Then it skims along, quickly glossing over the Discovery, Camel Trophy, and right into Freelander, all within the first half-minute.
The whole vid rounds out at just over a minute and a half to cover everything right up to the release of the fifth-generation Discovery late last year.
Also unclear to me is the reasoning behind the selection of music for this one. It doesn't strike me as music that embodies or “evokes” (get it?) any particular aspect or trait that I would typically associate with Land Rover vehicles, the company that makes them, or the people that use them. Perhaps there's something I'm missing on that, so if anyone can fill me in, please do so.
All criticism aside, we generally like anything that has a Land Rover in it, so it does have that going for it!
