Terrafirma All Terrain Shock And Coil Spring Suspension Kit TF202, Medium Load, For Land Rover Discovery I, Defender 90, And Range Rover Classic SWB (See Fitment Years)
Terrafirma Coil Springs are made from the highest quality steel, formed on accurate computer controlled mandrels and precisely heat treated to ensure consistent manufacturing. All springs are shot peened to relieve stress and scragged to ensure long spring life and prevent sag and are powder coated silver for long lasting good looks. Medium load front coil springs are designed to provide 2" of lift on vehicles with up to 100kg of additional equipment, such as a winch and bumper fitted to the front of your Rover. Recommended for all front medium load applications. More than 2" of lift may be achieved when less than 50kg of additional equipment is fitted. No additional equipment may lead to too much lift causing drive shaft vibration and steering geometry problems.
Terrafirma All Terrain shocks are a favorite in any condition and any environment. The tough twin tube design allows for a large volume of oil for cooler internals and improved protection of working parts. Low-pressure nitrogen keeps the oil under pressure which prevents it from foaming and creating cavitation which eventually results in heat buildup and shock fade. These shocks are built with the largest possible fully welded mounting pins and rubber bushes for maximum strength and durability. Tough enough to handle the punishment of recreational off-roading yet refined to provide a comfortable, well-balanced and controlled ride on road. Finished with a high quality deep silver paint to resist corrosion for long-lasting good looks. These are the perfect replacement for existing shocks and yet can also accommodate up to 2" (50mm) of lift using Terrafirma coil springs.
The quality of this kit is very good. I actually received a 90mm height increase with the install of this 50mm kit. My '98 Disco 1 with 245 75 16 tires had an initial ride height of 810mm to the top of the driver's front wheel well. After the install of the kit I was right at 900mm. The only two installation problems I had was the threaded end of the front shock could not protrude through the bottom enough to get the nut started and head to trim some of the rubber bushing off to get the nut started. My only other concern is the right rear spring loses contact with the upper spring mount on full articulation while the left rear does not. The springs are labeled PS and DS in small white print.

We have a 1998 Land Rover Discovery, we have bought other parts for this vehicle and everything we have purchased has been very high quality. Love the ride with these shocks and springs. Lifted the Rover all the way around!

My first experience with upgrading suspension. It was easy after reviewing a few YouTube videos and blogs. My rig's performance over trails and pavement is off the charts. Terra Firma may or may not be the best...I don't know. But I am happy with the value and performance.
Thanks.
