Has your Discovery Series II driver's side door lock failed? Do you insert your key into the door handle and it does nothing but spin and does not unlock the door?
You likely have a broken door pin that's not turning the actuator. It's a common failure and a hard replacement part to find!
Fear not, this is a new and improved door lock pin and shaft is made from solid 304 stainless steel and machined to the exact specifications.

This did the trick. The key lock works again after installing this pin replacement. It is definitely better than the original. The original corroded and broke. This new one is machined from stainless bar stock and should last forever. Also, it was reasonably priced. Thanks Atlantic British for providing this improved replacement part.
